Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Kankasanthurai to Hambanthota via Mannar, Colombo and Galle.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in other sea areas around the island during the afternoon or night.
Winds will be south-westerly and speed will be 30-40 kmph. Wind speed can increase up to 50-60 kmph at times in the sea areas around the island.
The sea areas around the island will be rough at times. Temporarily strong gusty winds and very rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.

Four (04) individuals have been reported dead and one person injured due to adverse weather conditions experienced in the Anuradhapura, Kegalle, and Kandy districts between 18th and 22nd October 2025.
