The Disaster Management Centre (DMC) has issued an advisory for swell waves in several sea areas in Sri Lanka today.
According to the advisory, swell waves about 2.5 m – 3.0 m in height may increase in the sea areas from Kalpitiya to Pottuvil via Hambantota.
The DMC further said that there is a possibility of inundation due to swell waves on the shores of sea areas from Colombo to Matara via Galle. (Newswire)
