The National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings for two districts.
The NBRO said the warning is effective from 8:00 a.m. today (Feb. 20) until 8:00 a.m. tomorrow.
Accordingly, residents in the Nildandahinna and Walapane Divisional Secretariat divisions in the Nuwara Eliya District have been advised to remain alert.
In addition, the NBRO has urged residents in the Maturata and Hanguranketha Divisional Secretariat divisions in Nuwara Eliya District, as well as the Meegahakivula and Kandeketiya Divisional Secretariat divisions in Badulla District, to remain vigilant. (Newswire)
