Public Can Now Report Drug Activity Directly to Provincial SDIGs

The Sri Lanka Police has enabled the public to directly report drug-related information to the Senior Deputy Inspectors General (SDIGs) of each province.

The Police Media Division announced that information regarding heroin, ice, cocaine, cannabis, and other illicit drugs can be reported via designated mobile numbers. The initiative aims to strengthen intelligence gathering and enforcement efforts across the island.

The police assured that all information provided would be treated confidentially. Provincial SDIGs will lead follow-up operations and legal action based on the intelligence received, according to the statement.

The mobile contact numbers for each provincial SDIG have been made publicly available. These include:
