An International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission has visited the Sri Lanka Customs Department to assess the progress made on key reform commitments under the country’s IMF-supported programme.

The visit focused on evaluating the implementation of customs reforms aimed at improving transparency, trade facilitation, digitalisation and revenue administration, which form part of Sri Lanka’s commitments under the IMF’s Extended Fund Facility (EFF).
