Newly appointed Minister of Public Security Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera and Opposition MP Field Marshall Sarath Fonseka engaged in an exchange of words in Parliament today.
The argument occurred over Samagi Jana Balawegaya MP Sarath Fonseka’s comments to the Minister on the reforms proposed to the Police Department.
Fonseka advised Minister Sarath Weerasekera to commence the reforms starting from the latter’s son, who was recently seen saluting the Minister while in Police uniform. (NewsWire)
