The official website of Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa was reportedly hacked by an anonymous group yesterday (02).

According to the Daily Mirror, the Sri Lanka Computer Emergency Readiness Team of Sri Lanka (SLCERT) said the website www.mahindarajapaksa.lk was hacked.

The website was redirected to another website called decentralized digital currency Bitcoin.

The Premier’s official site, which was directed to content related to Bitcoin, had granted access to another web page, it said.
