The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) will reduce the power cuts imposed during the weekend, Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera said today (14).
In a Twitter message, the minister said the decision has been taken due to an increase in hydro generation and low energy demand.
He further said that the CEB will keep the power cuts to a minimum if rains continue in the catchment areas.
Minister Wijesekera added that the CEB will manage the water resources available for future power generation. (NewsWire)
