The Sri Lankan Rupee has depreciated against the US Dollar at commercial banks in Sri Lanka today (24 July), compared to Wednesday.
At Seylan Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar decreased to Rs. 298.25 from Rs. 298.20 while the selling rate also slightly increased to Rs. 304.25 from Rs. 304.20.
According to NDB Bank, the buying and selling rate of the US Dollar have increased to Rs. 298.70 from Rs. 298.50 and Rs. 305.20 from Rs. 305 respectively.
People’s Bank reports that the buying rate of the US Dollar has decreased to Rs. 298.13 from Rs. 298.23 and the selling rate to Rs. 305.40 from Rs. 305.55 respectively.
At Commercial Bank, the buying rate of the US Dollar has increased to Rs. 296.55 from Rs. 296.30 while the selling rate has increased to Rs. 305.00 from Rs. 304.75.
According to Sampath Bank, the buying and selling rate of the US Dollar have remained unchanged at Rs. 298.50 and Rs. 305 respectively. (Newswire)
