Airport and Aviation Services (Sri Lanka) has recorded the highest number of passengers handled in a single month in its history, the Ministry of Ports and Civil Aviation said.
According to the ministry, a total of 1,045,097 passengers were served in January.
The previous highest monthly figure was recorded in January 2018, when 1,034,687 passengers were handled.
The ministry said the January total surpassed the 2018 record, marking the highest number of air passengers processed in a single month by the company. (Newswire)
