
A total of 25 people were killed in two separate aviation accidents reported on Sunday, with fatal crashes in Saudi Arabia and France, according to foreign media.
In Saudi Arabia, a helicopter belonging to state oil giant Saudi Aramco crashed in Ras Tanura on the country’s eastern coast, killing all 14 people on board. Saudi authorities said the cause of the crash remains unknown and an investigation has been launched.
In a separate incident, 11 people were killed after a civilian aircraft crashed near the town of Tomblaine in northeastern France.
French authorities said the aircraft belonged to a parachuting school, and those killed included the pilot, five students and five instructors. The cause of the crash has not yet been determined, with investigations underway. (Newswire)
