Five Sri Lankan players are set to feature in the 2026 Caribbean Premier League (CPL), representing three franchises.
Kusal Perera will play for Antigua & Barbuda Falcons, while Dasun Shanaka and Wanindu Hasaranga have been named among the overseas players for St Kitts & Nevis Patriots.
Maheesh Theekshana and Charith Asalanka will represent defending champions St Lucia Kings.
Meanwhile, Sri Lankan-born cricketer Amshi de Silva has been named by Trinbago Knight Riders. However, De Silva is listed as a USA player for the tournament rather than as a Sri Lankan overseas player.
