The United Arab Emirates has issued a missile threat warning after its air defence systems detected a potential missile threat, according to the UAE Ministry of Defence.
The Interior Ministry also sent an emergency alert to mobile phones, urging residents to immediately seek shelter in the nearest secure building.
“Due to the current situation, potential missile threats, immediately seek a safe place in the closest secure building,” the alert said.
It was reportedly the first such missile warning issued in the UAE in months. (Newswire)
