The first One-Day International (ODI) between India and Sri Lanka, scheduled for December 13, has been moved from New Delhi to Visakhapatnam.
The venue change follows a request from the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA), citing concerns over potential weather disruptions and proposed renovation work at the stadium.
The match was originally scheduled to take place in Delhi, which would have hosted its first ODI since the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.
Sri Lanka are scheduled to tour India for a six-match white-ball series comprising three ODIs and three T20 Internationals.
The December 13 fixture will now be played in Visakhapatnam, with the date remaining unchanged. (Newswire)
