The Standard Chartered Cup 2025, a premier corporate 5 a side Futsal tournament, organised by Standard Chartered Sri Lanka, concluded recently at the Racecourse Grounds, Colombo.

Hayleys PLC emerged victorious, clinching the prestigious SC Cup 2025 with a thrilling victory over LOLC Finance PLC in an exhilarating final match captivating the packed stadium. The Champions also walked away with and a trip to Liverpool, UK. The prize offers a unique opportunity to witness a live Liverpool FC (LFC) Premier League game and tour the iconic Anfield Stadium, home of the Reds. The Runners up, LOLC Finance, walked away with signed LFC jerseys.

The tournament was played under flood lights and saw fierce competition among 28 teams representing a diverse cross-section of Sri Lanka’s business community. Each match demonstrated the power of sports to unite corporate leaders in friendly rivalry. The championship showcased athletic talent and strengthened the Bank’s dedication to creating unique experiences that blend business networking with the excitement of football, bringing clients closer to the sport they love.
