2 persons from Rajagiriya & Kolonnawa and the nurse at the National Hospital who were Tested positive yesterday, Tested negative for COVID-19 today.
Health Service Director General Dr Anil Jasinghe said that the results of the first PCR test of the 3 persons have shown positive. However, further testing had proved that they have not contracted the virus.
Health and Security officials earlier said that they conducting further testing on 4 patients, including the 3 who tested negative this evening, as there has been no trace of how they were infected.
Family members of the Modara patient who passed away yesterday also tested negative for the virus.
