The Health Ministry has set up a hotline to assist the public pertaining to issues in obtaining medicines.
Health Minister Prof Channa Jayasumana said people who face any issues in obtaining medicines can inform the Ministry through the hotline.
Thereby, complaints and issues related to obtaining medicine can be registered via the hotline 1999.
Sri Lanka is currently facing a severe shortage of medicines due to the dollar crisis.
The public has pointed out the unavailability of several medicines in the country at present. (NewsWire)
