A youth has died after falling down a waterfall in the Udaveriya Estate area in Haldummulla Police division.
Police say that 2 youths have visited a waterfall in the Udaveriya Estate on Friday (2) and one of them had slipped and fallen off the waterfall when he tried to take a selfie photograph.
The body of the 24-year-old victim has been recovered on Saturday (3) from a waterhole about 200 meters below where he had slipped, the police said.
