Gold prices have dropped in Sri Lanka today in line with the rupee’s appreciation against the US Dollar, according to local gold merchants.
Accordingly, the price of a 22-karat sovereign has dropped to Rs. 145,000 in the local gold market today.
The price of a 24-karat gold sovereign is reportedly between Rs. 150,000 to Rs. 155,000. (NewsWire)
