Water supply has been disrupted in several parts of Colombo and suburbs at present, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) said.
According to the Water Board, the water supply has been disrupted in the Battaramulla, the Kotte and Kaduwela Municipal Council areas, Maharagama, and the Boralesgamuwa Urban Council areas.
In Colombo, the water supply has currently been disrupted in the Colombo 04, 05, 07, and 08 areas.
The Water Board stated that the water cut will be imposed in the said areas until 9.00 pm today.
The water supply has been disrupted due to a breakdown of the transmission pipeline from the Ambatale treatment plant and a leak in the main water supply line in Polduwa, Battaramulla. (NewsWire)
