Two Gazette notifications have been issued by the Government of Sri Lanka dated July 10, 2023, relating to the Census of Population and petroleum products licencing regulations.
A Gazette notification has been issued to carry out a Census of Population and Housing in Sri Lanka for 2023 and 2024.
The Gazette has been issued by President Ranil Wickremesinghe, in his capacity as the Minister of Finance, Economic Stabilization and National Policies.

Meanwhile, a Gazette notification has been issued laying out the petroleum products licencing regulations for the import, export, selling or supplying of petroleum products in Sri Lanka.
The Gazette has been issued by Minister of Power and Energy Kanchana Wijesekera.
