An individual on a motorcycle has been shot dead in the Gonnaduwa area on the Kuligoda- Meetiyagoda Road in Ambalangoda today (28).
The Police stated that the deceased has been identified as a 42-year-old resident of Usmudullawa, Madampagama.
The victim had been shot while returning home after dropping his wife at work and had died while being transported to the Balapitiya Hospital.
The Police are conducting investigations to ascertain details of the suspect and the vehicle used to carry out the shooting. (NewsWire)
