The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that a 16‑hour water cut will be imposed on Thursday (12 March) from 8:00 am to midnight in the Negombo and Katana areas.
Accordingly, the water supply will be suspended across all areas under the Negombo Municipal Council, the Katana Pradeshiya Sabha, and the Grama Niladhari divisions of Athiyawala, Jankurawela, Kaluwarippuwa, Miriswattha, Koongodamulla, Halpe, Andimulla, Ambalayaya, Thoppuwa, and Waikkala.
